It is with great enthusiasm and gratitude that we announce our 16 th Annual Scholarship Gala to be held on December 14, 2024 at 6:00 pm at Pitser Garrison Convention Center. Funds from this event are utilized to provide scholarships for deserving graduating high school seniors from Lufkin and Angelina County Communities. Your support to this effort is crucial to the success of our many qualified students that aspire to attend college after graduation.

 

Additionally we are proud to announce that we awarded
ten (10) $500 scholarships to seniors in the 2024 graduating class. We also presented two (2) more $500 scholarships sponsored by CHI St. Luke Hospital.

 

In addition to these scholarships, at each Gala we also present two community awards, and one presidential award .
 

The 2024 recipients are, City Council member Dr. Guessippina Bonner and LISD District Attorney Wayne Haglund.

 

The President Award recipient Mr. Kenneth Self, retiree from Lufkin Supportive Living Center.
